Why is Plus-50 II better than other oils? It’s because we hold it to a higher standard. Plus-50 II is evaluated using a special high-temperature engine test, the JDQ 78X, which goes way beyond what is required for API and ACEA ratings. It’s a severe test of the oil’s resistance to oxidation and thickening and of its ability to keep the pistons clean. Our Plus-50 II passes the JDQ 78X with flying colours, way ahead of the competition.

Compared to other oils, Plus-50 II has greater thermal stability, a lower rate of viscosity thickening, provides better soot control, and better wear protection. Its anti-oxidation properties allow the oil to work effectively at high temperatures, helping to keep engine parts cool and clean.
